Trigunaa An Introduction
Triguna’, an exhibition of spiritual and other art work by Vijay Vijan, will be on display from December 23 to 26, at Kalyanmayi Art Gallery, AAI Officers Institute, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. The exhibition will begin with the inaugural ceremony at 5 pm on December 23 and showcase 30 inspirational paintings during the four days. The title ‘Triguna’ suggests, three important ‘gunas’ (quality aspects) of mind, namely, ‘Satwa’, ‘Tamas’ and ‘Rajas’. These three ‘gunas’ are also referred as the energies of the mind. The artist, through his work, seeks to portray these qualities and energies of mind besides other connecting spiritual aspects, which are considered important to heal one’s own self. He feels calmness is the solution to all problems. The artist has keen interest in Indian Vedanta Philosophy and has published several books and articles on Vedanta and other topics.
